Buyer nations that had contracted to purchase the A400M military transport plane came to an agreement with industry about the fundamental financing of the military aircraft and the continuation of the programme in Berlin on 5 March. The European manufacturer EADS accepted the existing offer of the six buyer nations. The proposal foresees a price increase of EUR 2 billion and export credits to the tune of EUR 1.5 billion. The first aircraft is slated for delivery in 2014.
